Why undertaking a stationery cost analysis can really save you money;
Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 4:24PM We are always keen to showcase real time evidence of our work. Testimonials do work, but are often miscellaneous and contrived to say the least. It is also damaging to publish client names in such a competitive industry as our clients then get inundated with cold calls. We do however show real data when a potential new client requests to meet and chat over how we can help them save money.
Last year for example, one multi branch account benefited from a 20% saving in the first quarter which equated to a £3k saving in monetary terms. This and a thorough overhaul of their whole procurement process made other intangible savings that they barley knew existed. This is by no means a slant on them, we just introduce ideas and initiatives that aren't traditional in our market place.
In the last quarter, albeit due to snow and Christmas, the same client who spent 9k had a grand total of Zero credits, Zero returns and Zero shortages! Not only does this demonstrate the care and attention we offer, it saves the client further time and money. Ask your accounts department how many credits, overcharges and errors your suppliers make. I think you might be surprised, especially when you then know how much time is spent in resolving them.
