Breaking news; WWF(UK) sign 3 year stationery contract with Red-Inc
Red-Inc, possibly the UK`s most environmentally focused Office Supplies company; today released the news that they have just signed a 3 year contract with WWF (UK) as their preferred supplier.
Based in Sussex, Red-Inc who were the Uk`s first B Corp stationery company when they certified back in April 2017, have created a business model fit for modern times. Their B Corp status means that they are a business that meets the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit with purpose.
Founder Adam Huttly says, “This is a land mark in our history. It reinforces our position as a forerunner when it comes to delivering the most comprehensive, genuinely environmental office supplies solutions in the UK market. Sustainability is in our DNA, and has been since our conception back in 2008 – there are no short cuts to create a genuinely sustainable company. We work tirelessly to reverse our impact regardless of cost and make that a priority; more so we help our clients understand their impact and give them the tools and initiatives to reverse it”.
WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. Their mission is to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together.
Lauren Wiseman, Environmental Manager for WWF(UK) commented “At WWF-UK we strive to ensure that we’re not just doing right by the planet in our conservation work, we’re also walking the talk as an organisation. In the past we’ve experienced limited green product ranges, unnecessary and excessive packaging, and an insistence that there’s just not enough demand from other customers to warrant going green. Red-Inc have proved this to be incorrect and we are very excited to join them in their mission to change the stationery industry and the planet. Working with Red-Inc not only makes good business sense but also proves that stationery doesn’t have to cost the earth”.
